I think that we could make some changes to how player reputation changes when dealing with prisoners.
In my opinion the system is correct when dealing with enemy captains of all nations except pirates. In case of pirate captain I'd suggest:
- no reputation loss when you hang him but increased hostility with pirates;
- reputation increase and increased hostility with pirates when you kill him in a sord fight;
- decreased reputation and relations with nations other than pirates, in case of pirates improved relations with them when pirate is set free;
- no reputation increase when you get ransom from him, but you could get money and improve your relations with any nation when you "sell" him to a governor of this nation.
As for reputation in B13 final I've observed that when thief stole some of my money and then I agreed to take a gem from him and let him go I got 5 point reputation decrease - I think my reputation shouldn't suffer in such situation?
EDIT: morgan terror is of course right, I share his point of view. Thanks!
