[REL] Frigate Arabella retextured (Cinco Llagas)

Start a game as Peter Blood. He is the only character with access to the Arabella and he gets her very early in the game, long before he or his officers have the stats to command her. You may know her better as the Frigate Cinco Llagos. In the books, Peter captures her and when she is in for refitting rechristens her as the Arabella in honor of the plantation owners niece he falls in love with and feel he will never have a chance to show his love to her.

Can anyone help me! I have completed all the quests and am about to go to see as Peter Blood with my crew but when I go to sea I'm on the Flying Dutchman??? What did I screw up? I don't know why I'm not on the Arabella?

Just a little reskin to add quality to the textures <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> I'm thinking of modifying it to make it black and more pirate themed, but this one is a great improvement to have over the base one.

Ah, you see, Arabella, for some reason, uses texture from RESOURCE/TEXTURES/ subdirectory, not from RESOURCE/TEXTURES/SHIPS/ARABELLASHIP/

Search your feelings... I mean TEXTURES subdirectory, and you'll find ArabellaShip.tga.tx texture.

So i just copy over the onw thats there right? Does it require a new game to take effect ?

No. Texture, model or sound swaps require nothing else - as long as new file has the same name as the old one.

I completed new Arabella tex
Start new game with Arabella ship which has new textures. The old textures are replaced and now you can play with new, sure attributes are now new too as you sail a new Arabella class ship.Old Arabella was dirty and damaged I think that is why I make a new one with better atributes.

For some problems with Smugglers mod I have to complete this with this cool mini mod and now you can use only this download without problems!
