August through November is Hurricane season... storms in general as well as the spring when Cold and High Pressure/ Low Pressure systems make their way into that area routinely off the continent.

Actually, hurricane season in the Caribbean is from mid-May through the entire month of November. Last year, we had a Cat 1 hurricane spin up practically in my backyard in February. Which parameters in which file(s) need to be adjusted to accurately reflect a normal hurricane season in-game?

Well, yes, spring Hurricanes have become more like the February tornados in states that have never had tornados especially in winter months due to the climate change we humans have caused and now will suffer the penalty for all the methane and CO2 we've dumped in our breathing air to make money... much more important than a stable environment and clean air for breathing, just ask any Republican. Waters temps this year reached a record never before seen or even dreamt of... hot water means Hurricanes just as hot air on land means tornados, Hurricane season in the past was the warmest months since that's when the most formed. February is not supposed to be warm enough to spawn either Huricanes or Tornados, but welcome to Climate Change Bingo via Mother Nature... gotta get rid of excess heat somewhere... all that energy gotta go somewhere and our atmosphere is a very thin layer for disposal.
