Edit: Did you know there's somebody on here that actually has the user name of "admin"? They are an Administrator, but they haven't been on the forum in ages.

I'm not aware of anything happening. Some people came back who were gone for a while. Meigger is off on business or he'd be here posting this lunacy with us.

I may be pulling a disappearing act sometime near the end of the year as well - my ISP is getting pushier with their limiting of download speeds for all types of traffic (not just P2P anymore), and I'd dearly love to call them up and tell them to shove their head up their ass and fight for air <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> . Alas, school's not finished yet (yes, they did extend the year until the end of July), so I still need a mostly-reliable connection.

I'll be disappearing in a few days, anyways - I'll be starting to study for my government exam in August, and those are pure hell. Starting review now is actually quite normal for most of the other students <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" /> At least, I won't be alone in this mess - 15 or 16 others found out their tests hadn't been scheduled, either <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> .

I also learned a couple days ago that essentially every relative from BC is planning on coming out here in the next few weeks - it's strange they never came in previous years <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" /> . But, then again, I think all they see us as is a motel now that we're in an area with easier access to most of the city <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="<_<" border="0" alt="dry.gif" /> . They were all informed of my exam, but they apparently don't care about the interruptions they'll no doubt cause. I suppose it's wrong to feel this way, but still, how would they feel if it was done to them?
 
Yes, Meigger disappears for months at a time sometimes, but then comes back and will be here for months.

School till the end of July? Government exams? I won't be coming back during this study time - Science is my worst subject <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" /> Although, going by my 90% average, you wouldn't know it <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> My problem is, once the textbooks with example questions are taken away, I'm lost - if I don't have something to follow, I'm basically screwed <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" /> . But, my teacher doesn't believe that - it's the whole "Your marks are good, so you'll do good" routine.

It's basically everybody - well, minus my grandparents <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> They know the crap I go through during exams, and that quiet helps more than anything else. We're closer to West Edmonton Mall now (what's so great about the place is beyond me), and to most of the major roads running through the city, so it's easy to get to the outskirts and hit all the little places around here. There were piles of opportunities before (minus our last move in the summer), but it's usually only my grandparents that come, if anybody. I haven't seen most of the others in something like 10 years <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> . Apparently, one of my cousins is a drug addict - I can already tell this isn't going to be a fun time for me <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> . This is the time that suits them best, so apparently, that's all that matters. I, frankly, have no interest in seeing any of them - I wonder what they'd think if I went and stayed in a motel until they all leave? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

I'm on cable, but you wouldn't know that anymore <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> . It's slower than ever, and they jacked the price up another $10 last month - it's at something like $70/month now just for internet.
