By the way those f**kers at Classic-Space forum are still building their sci-fi bullsh*t up from lego.. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> In case you didn't know. The reason why I left there once long ago was that those a**es there were so materialistic and when I mentioned something about flying saucers or aliens there they just started to yabber that such things are not real. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> F**k off! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/boom.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":boom" border="0" alt="boom.gif" />

And once when I built a lego spaceship (not flying saucer) without any engines shown to outside they just told me the bulls**t about that "lego spaceships gotta look interesting" or something like that. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> Hey I'm interested in high-tech stuff what aren't primitive like NASA shuttle's jet engines. By high-tech stuff I mean flying saucers what can outrun NASA shuttle 100+ times back and forth while NASA shuttle flies to the orbit. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> (Yells at NASA) Suckers! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/slap.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":slap" border="0" alt="slap.gif" /> <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/24.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rofl" border="0" alt="24.gif" />

I have been wanting to build a flying saucer from lego for a long time but I still don't have any saucer parts. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> And I just get bored too fast from not-saucer shape.
 
i think you need flexible components for curves combined with rigid components for struts. the modern technic lego could be perfect for that, if you buy the right model. then you could try covering the gaps with something other than lego.
 
Actually I was thinking about getting two sets of <a href="http://shop.lego.com/product/?p=7646&LangId=2057&ShipTo=US" target="_blank">this</a> to make a flying saucer where at least one "midget" fit's in. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />
 
That set has two saucer parts and that's why I must get two of these sets to get four saucer parts. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />
Only bad thing with this set is that I can't see it anywhere in the shops of Estonia. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> And I don't have credit card to buy stuff from websites. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

it's a sci-fi webcomic. it's nearly finished, the presumed final chapter being in the works. i've got no idea exactly how long it is, but i suspect it's more than 2000 episodes. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/8q.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":8q" border="0" alt="8q.gif" /> 24 chapters in all.

I just found out this morning there's MORE people coming to visit. People with 6 kids under the age of 5. Kids who like climbing on anything and everything a.k.a. the computer desk. My mind has ceased functioning due to being surrounded by total insanity <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> .
 
Let me see if I got this straight. All of these people have come clear across Canada just to visit you at college? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":eek:" border="0" alt="ohmy.gif" />
 
Nope - they've only come from BC to Alberta <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> . And I'm still in high school <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> . And I still live at home, so they are in effect using my parents' house as a hotel so they can see whatever it is they came out here to see <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> - it sure as hell ain't me. They know where I stand on visitors coming in when I'm trying to study for an exam.
 
Oh, that's right, high school lasts longer there. But how come they all came over? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />
 
They came because the time was right for them - they apparently could care less if the same could be said for us <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
