English words that have been forgotten. These words were spoken prior too and during the Age of Pirates. Do you not think they are interesting.


These words are from Jeffrey Kacirk's study of forgotten english. Words that were used long ago but have been forgotten. Today's word is CRAPULOUS. This word meant sick by intemperance connected or associated with drunkeness. Appropriate for the New Year.

Salty, We generally watch the ball drop. Been doing it for about 7 years.

Morgan, before every New Year, New York City in Times Square has a giant ball drop to usher in the new year. Thousands of people crowd into Times Square just to watch it. It is one giant party. It is something everyone should see in person at least once in their life.
