Public FTP Upgrade

ok guys due to the events on the Pirates! public FTP I have a surplus amount of space so im increasing the POTC public ftp to 150meg capacity with room to grow another 50 meg if required.

Its previous limit was 100 but atm its taking up 90

Since there is alot more activity on this ftp i hope someone will notice if anything funny is going on <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
 
I was wondering if you could give me some webspace to host my Post Build 12 modpack (see the links in my signature). I currently have it on some of my "own" webspace, but it was given to me for my <a href="http://www.static-lift.net/~vsshipyard" target="_blank">Virtual Sailor website</a> and not for general use, so I'm feeling a bit bad about using 50MB of it for Pirates of the Caribbean stuff... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />
 
if its just a file i can host it on the US server, or is it something you update all the time?

ok i can organise you 50 meg on the PA! server if ou like, sorry i cannot go much more than that...at the moment in about a month i can though

Not wanting to step on anyone toes here, but I could set up an FTP account for you, Pieter. Heavens knows I have plenty of room and bandwidth on my currently closed-for-remaking website, and I can give you your own FTP with a "guest account" if you wish.

You sure are <i>not</i> stepping on MY toes. I think that, at the moment, I should be able to continue with the webspace I currently have. I have my website and the full modpack on the PA! webspace and have the update on my old webspace. This saves about 60MB of webspace on the other server (after I removed some other rather large unnescessary files as well). But when the modpack is getting much larger, it won't fit on the PA! server anymore and when I add in the A&M Mod's models and some other ones, I reckon the file's size might increase in size dramatically. So I think I might indeed be able to use some extra webspace when I add those models in. Possibly I might only temporarily need it, because Keith said he might be able to organize some more in about a month. And I am hoping some of the new stuff will be moved into a Build update, so I can leave them out of the modpack. That would also save a lot of space. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wp" border="0" alt="whistling.gif" />

If you just put all nescessary files for the new characters in one zip file, I'll probably be able to get them working in the game and then you won't need to zip them uo completely properly. I hope.
About the webspace: Now that I added some of the A&M Mod's new characters and that I'll be adding some extra ship skins, I'll be over the 55 MB in no-time. It's already at 52 MB. I will be able to figure something out when you don't have the space available yet, but I would be able to use it eventually... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

BTW, all mods I have posted can be cleared from the FTP, as they are included in the latest modpack anyway.
