Just browsing through games and mods today.. been an avid fan of x 3 reunion for the last couple of days. Although not knocking the game but after checking out what the end game can be there im not convinced its -my- type of long game so been looking for other space trading sim and trading sims in general for something to get invloved in.
This Pirates of the Caribbean mod sounds interesting.. Taking a hashed license game (come on they nearly all are, i just dont bat an eye lid when i see them anymore and write them off as under par straight away). But adding in noncasual player content to tiple the more dedicated gamer.
Two questions i wanted to ask really, getting to my point (i just wanted to lay the scene a little).
1. Which version of POTC is this mod for, i checked gamespot and found there's a few sequels etc.. (I assume its for the original?)
2. Does anyone have any games they can reccomend for longevity like x 3, or others gernes like rpg etc that are basically great open ended games (maybe some diamonds in the rough that dont make it past the commercial clatter of EA games and that shaz), i noticed this site has a taste for it with mentions of Age of Pirates a game i never heard of till i came here (also note that Age of Pirates got a low rating by gamespot but users gave it a much higher rating).
That'll do for now. Sorry if question 1. is complete noobish, just gotta check. Any help and advice is much apprciated. Hungry gamer out <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
