PLEASE help me with Frigate to smaller ship swapping

Hey all.

I was wondering if someone could give me step by step instructions as to how to do the 'Get all stuff off the starting frigate (P Blood England line), move to a Tartane, equip it, and sell or store the frigate'. Also I have a problem getting anymore crew.

What I want to do is this :-

After doing the P Blood England quest line I now have the frigate. I want to get all goods and cannons etc off the frigate and sell it or put it into storage. I'm just a bit confused on how to move the crew over as I get something like 'you can't leave a ship without a crew' when I try to move. Also I don't know where to get more crew and ALSO why can't I fit cannons to the new ship etc.


So in short, please can someone give me a step by step guide to getting all stuff off the frigate, storing or selling it, getting more crew for the new ship, putting cannons on it, and making it so i have the tartane with crew, cannons, and some goods so that I may set off. Yes I have the manual but it still seems weird.

You can not do this with only the frigate.
After escaping from Bridgeton, go to Port de France and Le François (Martinica), enlists the crew who are, exit at sea and capture a small ship (lugger / sloop / brig max): is very difficult because you're slow and penalized, but is necessary. After capture, exchange ship, transfer crew, put Ogle in command of the frigate and drag you behind the frigate until you have the money (25-35.000) to park it.
The resume when you (or your navigator) is with level navigation 80.
Never sell the frigate Arabella!!!

Err better still press F2 go to Ships tab double click on cannons, click on remove all.
Go to shipyard, sell cannons -reason for this is that you probably get a small fortune for them and it comes extremely handy in the beginning and later on when you want to reclaim the frigate you will have the means to arm the ship- on the left side click on empty slot under your current ship, then click on desired ship, click buy, set captain(yes Ogle is a better choice than Jeremy "Never Happy" Pitt )press esc.
Click F2 go to ships tab double click on new ship click yes then click swap ships then click transfer cargo (if theres not sufficient space in new ships hold then manually transfer cargo) then the most important click on transfer crew, transfer all 'cause once you store your frigate the remaining crew on the ship runs for the nearest tavern...
Go to port conroller and click on can I leave my ship for a while(??),pay up then happy days
