Pirates! for the Nintendo DS

What do you guys think of a version of Pirates! for the DS, should it happen? Would it happen?
I've been thinking about it and it would be easy to create a version for the DS. All the menus, the text, and the maps could be displayed on the lower screen while the animtions (ship at sea, dueling, city screen) could be displayed on the top.

I think it would be a good idea and would love a copy for my DS.

unfortunately the only console (including hand held game machines) where the SMP will be released is on xbox.
