Packet Boat

Well the Poseidon is a user created ship, that would be a nice addition to the 3rd Rates.

(It's only a 4th in PotBS because they wanted to make it accesable by all nations and they've taken a funny standing against SOLs in that game unfortunately).
 
Oh, thanks, you're too good... It's possible i need an help for asking the potbs modders the ships, there are a lot of models, also little ships that are great... One question, how can i make the textures of a ships in a only one file?

You do'nt have to use only one file..it's just preferable if you can:doff .

Using multiple files could be a good idea if we could share these files between ships.

I remember you got ignored. Those were nasty times and my back froze when realizing they were old members of this community.
Although I admire their attention to detail, I personally would be too proud to ask FLS for anything, both because I remember and because I am very proud of what our own modders of today are coming up with. Still, I admire Oskar94 for asking first and FLS for letting him have this ship.
It could be a fortune-telling of better times ahead, relationwise, with FLS ;)

I made the Raa frigate, 32 guns and the Poseidon, 60 guns for PotBS. You can have them if you want. I think the Poseidon - THE ORIGINAL - has around 96k polys. A lot of detail was deleted when FlyingLabs put it into the game despite it beeing below the required maximum. Would love to see it in the storm engine, which has REAL waves. Or what its called. In PotBS they kinda bump up and down on the sea, looks funny.

The models are in 3d studio max format (7). I´m too lazy to do all the programming and formatting to get anything into games these days, I just enjoy the 3d building itself, so someone would have to do that.

Hi Jabberdau, yes, i'm Jack Richardson, if you want you can upload them to the pirates ahoy ftp, i'll made the convert works, the format is perfect, i've got deep exploration so... Thank you very much for the ships, good modelling :onya
