Ok, how should I start?

hi, I've been off for a while and I'm sure I've missed a lot lately. Now i want to be fully update my POTC game. can someone tell me what exacly I should install ? because it's now not clear enough for me. I have the european POTC.. I've installed that clean on my comp.. then what should I do ? install build 12.1 and then pieters pack ?..

Grab and extract to POTC folder, in order:
Full build 12.1 install (~80mb from PA's file section) -- make sure you run the runme.bat if you haven't delocalized yet.
Full Base Pack from Pieter's page (~55mb <a href="http://pieter.piratesahoy.net" target="_blank">http://pieter.piratesahoy.net</a> )
Full update from the same page (~8mb)

Actually, the Code Only update (460 KB) should do. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />
 
tnx NK.. i've done that and everything works fine except why aren't the new islands included :S ?... I still have that 6 standard islands (douwessen isla muella etc) .. how can I add the new islands ? tnx <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
 
there still arn't any new islands in it yet , however , you could try to understand russian , and try the A&M mod

What is the runme.bat for?
There is something done with some files, as I could follow the things after starting runme.bat.
 
It is to make sure you are not running a localised version of PotC, by moving the files to the default for the US version - not doing that would mean PotC looks for files in the wrong place, thus making the Build (or PotC) not work. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

nope.. there ARE new islands <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> I've found out myself.. install Build 12.1 then pieter pack then screwface mod.. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/buds.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":drunk" border="0" alt="buds.gif" />

But the build mod also worked without doing that.
