Solved New Horizons startup crash

yea just go control panel then device Manager then Graphics cards thenright click on the intel card deactivate intel card that fix all my problems with storm engine that i was having with sea dogs to each its own and age of pirates and sea dogs 2(pirates of the caribbean)

Did you try the Intel Fix?
Sea-related crashes are often solved by that.

Hey guys!

hope you can help me.
Everytime i try to start a new game I get following error message:

(sorry it's in german)

I did the installation like mentioned, not installed in Program files and so on...

Attached I send the files, would be very nice if you could help me ;-)

Are you using an intel video card and did you install the fix?

I have a nvidia card and also tried to change it in the control penal, but it didn't helped.

What do you mean with fix?

It didn't return an error.log right?
When you install the game you have the option to chose the Intel Fix. maybe your game is using the intel graphics card.

No I choose NVIDIA to run the exe

Also tried different resolution settings, but it still crashes after I try to start a new game

@Levis: This cannot possibly be the Intel error. If that were the case, the game would at least get as far as the main menu.

So no error.log at all?
Can you embed the contents from system.log (and compile.log) in a post?
I'm in my phone for the coming week, which makes looking at attachments quite hard.

Most likely this is an erroneous mod install.
Did the game work before installing the mod?
