No really, every navy and lots of merchants used colorful paintings on their ships in those days and I think these textures just adds to the diversity and realism.

you know ...that ship reminds me of the lineship that is in the aop ....kinda looks just like it <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/buds.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":drunk" border="0" alt="buds.gif" />

MAN that AOP lineship is ugly. maybe not the worst i've seen though. your skins, on the other hand, which i can see now, are looking great! however, the french version has one issue: it uses both the spanish and the french navy colours. not really a problem, but could be a little odd.
 
The stern on the lineship looks strange, like chopped off. Great skins, though.

By the way, I assume the download here only contains the skins for the Arabella, not the actual model, right? I wonder where I can get that from...

i don't think the texture is too hot either, but it's better than the blocky stern.
 
well... the nr 1 was maby to much simple... i mean, you should spend some more time with it.. the nr 2 was more detailed...

the nr 2 i ok but not a ship i would use..

the textures are not from my hand. these are russian work.
