Need help adding locators to models

We need added box1 and box2 locators for Maximus' Corsairs III captain's cabin models. Also: I reckon the invisible item I made (for the fistfighting mod) should have a start and end locator (not having those locators caused trouble with someone with another weapon). Anyone can give us a hand?

Pieter, i have rewritten the Boal_cabin.c file to include the 2 new cabin models in. I can put it on the ftp if you want ! the only thing you have to do is to move all the files of the folders Cabin01 and cabin02 (in maximus files) in the tut_deck folder like for previous models.

For the 2 new upper deck models, i think it would be great if we could use them for boarding party. Of course the second deck (your) is not in theses models but thoses decks are really big and beautiful. Did you manage to add in the missing locators yet?
 
I could easily add any locator you want, thanks to Inez tool. Post or mail me the details and files, and I can do that sometime next week.

However it might be more efficient in the long run if I teach you and Screwface and whoever is interested how locatoradding can be done. Especially for the work on the new islands this might be a great help. If anyone is interested I could write a tutorial.
 
Pieter, i have upload the boal_cabin.c file on the ftp in a small pack. I didn't manage to add the missing locator because i don't how to do that but i have made 2 new loading screens for the cabins and i have put them in the pack.

I puted one of the new cabin model for all frigates and light frigates and the other for all the galions. This "dispatching" is not closed and if people, after testing that in game, have suggestions about other type of ship, they are welcome.

A new game is not required for theses addition but like i said above, you'll have to remove the contains of folders Cabin01 and cabin02 in the Tut_deck folder when you'll prepare your next modpack with the maximus resource files pieter. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/keith.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":keith" border="0" alt="keith.gif" />

If you want to add the missing box locators in the 2 new cabin models, with the boal cabin.rar (for code) i have uploaded on the ftp and the maximus files (for models and textures) you will have elements to work and test your work in game. That's the 2 models in cabin01 and cabin02 folders who needs to have a box1 and box2 locators for permanent chest and weapons locker. To test it in game, you will have to move the contains of theses folders in your tut_deck folder <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

I'm working hard on the new modpack update, but I must say it's all rather complicated work. I'll try to get everything working soon, preferrably with the new locations. It seems like Maximus has changed the boarding locations, but I think I'll keep it at default until it's tested.
 
I uploaded Maximus' cabin resource files <a href="http://pieter.piratesahoy.net/maximus_cabins.zip" target="_blank">here</a> (30,9 MB), so you can have a look at it, CCC. There should be a box1 and box2 locator added for the regular sailor's chest and the weapon's locker. Request for Screwface: Can you please also make an update for the BOAL_Deck.c file and the Ship.c location file? Pieter, i don't think that our boal_deck.c and ship.c have to be updated. We have new cabin locations but the decks and holds stay the sames. I have check the maximus files and i don't understand why he declared some ship locations with connections between them. Normaly, with the maximus files, you could go in the hold, decks and upper decks if you are in the cabin, without returning to sea mod. Or when you are in sea mod and cabin mod, reload locators are disabled so all the connections between ship locations can't work in post build 12.... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

I think Maximus might have added connections between ship locations so you can walk around the ship. Unfortunately, last time we did some tests with that, you could walk around the ship, but the game would crash upon returning to sailing mode. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

2 new locators files for the cabin01 and cabin02 models are on the FTP. I hope they will work, that's the first time that i add locators in a model... I have tested them and they work, i have chest and weapons locker with <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" />
