Sheck the PROGRAM\Ships\init_ships.c file and see if you can do something about the nations. Also: Please note that not all ships are available at the same time. Sometimes a shipyard just doesn't, for example, have a MoW available. But next time you visit, it might be there again.

In Falaise de Fleur port, there is a man called Milon Blacque (I think). He's an old man standing still and he's the Blacque's father, hoping that his son will return once. His son is walking around in Redmond town, near the townhall.

I know it is the same thing, that was not what i would to say rad. I just said while the quest entry is like an "unfinished quest" entry in logbook (or questbook), you haven't found the tresure chest <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />
 
Mine froze as I was attempting to moor. The loading screen came up for the landing spot at turks, but just hung and never loaded. It does seem like a really neat quest though, so I hope someone can get the bugs worked out! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
 
Hi, all. Pieter, could you try to answer all my questions? There is so many problems and even new ones that I already though I will abandon the game but I will stay here yet.

How can I switch off those mod of destroyable cannons without I would remove all the mod of realistic cannons? Or if I want to retain this function how should I repair them without paying every time for all the new cannons? For example I have destroyed 4 cannons. The only possibility is to buy the same new ones but I always pay for all 42 cannons about 80 000 gold again and again. Did you understand me? I thought there will be some button in the shipyard and I will buy my 4 new cannons and will replenish my armament by that but nothing similar don´t exist here. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" /> <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ib012.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cry" border="0" alt="ib012.gif" />

Thanks a lot for your offer, but sorry, I am already drowning in halffinished mods and concepts. And there is a lot of debugging to be done, as you know from your playtesting Due to lack of sparetime I already quit all other forums and games, and still there is much more on my plate than I can swallow.
Basically you are right, PotC could certainly do with more interesting dialogs and storybased quests. Cat excelled there with the Fred Bob quest, but she also is short of time lately. So I'd say we lack (wo)manpower, not ideas.

But with PotC being opencoded you don't need other people to realize your ideas, you can create your own dreamgame yourself <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" /> You don't need any special knowledge or ability (I had none when I started). All you need is stamina, patience and dedication. If you are interested have a look at the tutorials in the WIKI. For a storybased quest you mainly need charactercreation and dialogs, and that is not that difficult. And you can always ask for help here, we are not a closed-shop group for "elite" modders only, we encourage and support newcomers by openly sharing work and knowledge, limited as it is <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />
Regarding your idea with more hints and variations in the streetdialogs: if you are willing to tackle that I can deliver a lesson how you can add more dialogoptions. I found why your game froze up at this point. That's because i have forgotten to include the FOAM files of this shore (sandy point i suppose) in my last modpack <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" /> I will soon upload a new update with this files and some other stuffs.

Thanks for this information Doober, without your bug, i will never see that these files was missing in the new islands modpacks because personnaly i had these files in my game directory so my game doesn't freeze up at this point <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

Great mod, that additional islands. And especially the treasure quest (although I first thought, it's not completed, because the first three times, the chest was empty). I'm looking forward for an update!

I encountered that too, but the game freezes not completely, it just takes some minutes until it goes on. The same happens just now with the "Saving Toff's daughter" quest, when you go to the pirates ship: game freezes for some minutes. Does anybody know, if this could be a related bug?

Another one with the new islands: After having now three Manowars, I thought: let's raid the pirate settling on the small island besides Hisponiola. But I wasn't able to shoot at the forts from third person mode. Just no reaction on the [space]-bar. I don't know, if that's caused by the new islands mod, because that also happens sometimes during normal sea battles: make/strike sails, afterwards firing at 3rd-person-mode doesn't work until you have once fired in 1st-person-mode.

Hi, Screwface. Are you the one who creates these islands? They can be really good in the future. If you will update this islands somehow can I would correct them in my game without I had to play the game from the beginning or reinstall all the game ? When the shop on Cayman Island works already so all those future shops should be included into the trade book. But it could be done it with Nathan and other modders because the good balance of the trade is very important and delicate matter. I like to smuggle. As I wrote already above after my installation of these new islands some unpleasant video bug appeares on my computer. Very often Nathaniel starts to fly above the ground in the space and is drifted somewhere and all the picture will become distorted. In this case I must use the travel icon and replace him somewhere else but sometimes it doesn´t work and I must load the game. I am curious if anybody encounter such problem now. Could you create any completely different towns in the future not as a compilations of the old ones? For your video bug, i can't help you, i never saw this bug and i don't think it is caused by the new islands mod. It looks like more as a video card bug or perhaps a dirext X bug.

At this time, i haven't found how to integrate the new shops in the trade book <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bookish.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":mm" border="0" alt="bookish.gif" />

For now, and i know it is very sad (for me too), you'll have to start a new game each time that there is a new islands mod update. It is because there is a lot of "new locations", characters and shops who are added so all the game have to be intitalised like at the beginning.

In the SLiB mod, there are some recoloured town models. They still have the same model, but different colours, so they'll at least look slightly different. I don't know if it has anything to do with this, but I encountered some random puffs of smoke hanging at Falaise de Fleur Octopus Bay. I had neevr seen that before and haven't got the slightest idea where they came from. I had a bug too on octopus bay pieter. The cliff wasn't textured when i went on shore and curiously, i have fixed it by..... installing an older version of my video card drivers... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

You can get them from the SLiB <a href="http://legend.seaward.ru/links.htm?uselink=54" target="_blank">download page</a>. You should get install_twn.rar and resource_town_c.rar . The resources are in the second file, the first is the installer file. If you try to install it on top of an installed SLiB mod, it'll generate all the required .GM models for the new towns. Hope you can get it to work.
Warning: It'll be real large once you're done. I once tried to make a .zip file including all the SLiB mod's new files, but it turned out over 300 MB. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/piratesing.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shock" border="0" alt="piratesing.gif" />
 
All the time I am encountering the problem that make me sad very long time. When the regular boarding takes place when enemy didn´t gave up I can only fight on the deck. After killing all the enemies and replenishing two chests must be pushed spacebar and you proceed into the under deck and fight further. When I started to play this new version it worked several time in the game and I was really happy because this problem persisits in several Builds. But after some playing in the course of classical boarding, after my winning on the upper deck when I try to push spacebar nothing happens here and I can´t do anything about that only load the game. Are you encountering similar problem? If anybody could remove this unpleasant bug I would be very glad. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

I would recommend not doing so. It only works with the Russian mod. It won't do you much good on the Build.
