Some of you (or maybe all) may have seen this clip already, but this is <i>not</i> the 85 odd Mb clip that is doing the rounds at the moment. Dont let the size fool you. this just seems to be a clip of somone playing the game. Looks good, although he seems to play out all the naval scenes at high TC ,which kind of sucks cannon balls. I know the link says Corsairs 3, but it seems that its AOp, and im not really sure of the difference. Enjoy anyway!

StarForce sux tho, thats why i'm gonna wait for a anti-starforce patch from akella when AoP comes out.

Already have Starforce on my PC from Silent Hunter 3, hasnt caused me any problems.

What is all the dabate about patches at the minute for AOP? I was reading it in another thread but it wasnt very clear.

Lets just say that in the next 2 years if SF is not stopped things will be like this:

Gamer: "Hey SF protection PLEASE LET ME WATCH THAT DVD MOVIE!!!!"
SF: "oooo but it may be pirated!!!!!????!!?!? i can't realy figureout is it or is it not, so i won't let you use the DVD

PS. Since i don't know how to install myself, i'm gonna go around the network paths andm aybe copy to some of your friends on the LAN"


So far the SF team only shows how they can't make protection systems cuz if they did make such a thing, then there wouldn't be backup copies of games with SF that run.

Ubisoft have taken into acount how sales DROP using SF so they drop the "protection" - <a href="http://www.ggmania.com/?smsid=21361" target="_blank">http://www.ggmania.com/?smsid=21361</a>

I'm sure Akella can't do that cuz of Playlogic(atleast not when teh game releases) so that is why i won't buy it untill i see the anti-SF patch.


EDIT: Have you tried removing SF? Gues what happens:
1. You use the SF removing tool(from SF them self) - removes only enviromental driver, all the other ones remain and after two restart the whole crap is back.

2. Use the Device Manager-> View-> Show hidden devices and remove all the drivers (uninstall when asked to restart don't untill you press uninstall to the last driver), after two restarts its all back.

i watched the movie and i must say it was rather amuzing however its ony hightend my anticipation.
