Ahoy! I have a very annoying bug that I know all of you are aware of. I have Win 8.1 and get the CTD with Intel/Nvidia issue. Has there been a new fix yet? I got it to work with the Intel fix that comes with the new build but I am not sure what has changed from doing that. Only thing I noticed was the water. Does the water alter with this? Is so, I am disappointed. I love looking at the water.

The Intel Fix we've got is the best fix you're probably ever going to get.
The game runs fine with it and the water not looking its best is the only disadvantage it has.
Considering the original game refuses to run at all, that's a pretty good score!

An alternate "solution" does exist: SwiftShader.
That forces the game into 100% software rendering and then you get "perfect" graphics.
At the expense of terrible frame rate and an unstable game, that is.
That is why I strongly recommend the Intel Fix instead.

Neither is ideal. But it's either a rock or a hard place.
Or another graphics card.
