Hello and welcome to this community.

The ActiveMap is included in version 1.7.3, to get it in the normal way you have to loot the gold fleet or you can find it in a chest in an extraordinary way.

You can also activate it by changing the \program\seadogs.c file for the one I attach.

Before trying the last option save a copy of the file in case something goes wrong, they just updated the game and it is an option.
