I know there is a couple of those settings in buildsettings.h about Fire_ Angular_Scalar or something like that in a row, and they all sound somewhat similiar...but the one I changed allowed a double arc wide for cannons......I realize up and down was very limited, but angle wise not so much, that is why I didnt like the restrictions put on the build with that realistic cannon mod, or whatever it was called. Not saying this was a bad mod, just think the angle was made too narrow. The problem is there are a number of threads that say something like if you change settings the whole mod doesn't work right, so I do not know if I was better off or not.....
Now I will be the first to agree the whole Cannons/Fire/Ammo/Damage thing needs a better streamlined overhaul....too many mods tinkering with one and not the "Whole" has changed some things but not the rest, so this really needs to be put into a balanced state again. I still think "bombs" should be used for Shore batteries, that have the ability too use "heated Shot"......not all forts for gosh sakes, just some......to throw in a little variety......still seems as if the AI uses Bombs, because of the numbers of Fires.....It got so bad I disabled that in buildsettings.h...happened everytime the buggers hit me.....wasnt a Sailor, I was a flippin Fireman!!!
