how many times can you get married in SMP?

Only once.. But you can continue to romance even after you are married. Comes in handy for gifts.. : )

Only once. You can woo other girls, but they will never ask you to marry them.

However, if you have married a plain daughter (8 points), you can woo a beautiful girl enough to get more points from wooing her than you did by marrying the plain girl. Then her picture will replace the plain one in your status screen and you can see your wedding with her instead, if you click on the pic.
