I have a hypothesis about the GA. :nerbz

It is the flags causing it, and they are causing it because the are persistent and stay in game long after the mast they were attached to has fallen into the water and then disappeared. I suspect that the flags only disappear when the ship they belong to is sunk and disappears or is repaired.
Is there any way to disable all flags when a ship loses a mast? That ship would then have no flags but there would be no floating flags causing problems.
 
I haven't the foggiest. That flag code is CRAZY complicated. Confused the crap out of me when I tried to fix up the display of those pirate flags ashore.
Had to write a stupid fix, because it just wouldn't do what it was intended to. :modding
