I brought you a welcome gift in form of a lyrical pirate song by a famous USSR 'bard' (as they were called then, kind of chansonneirs with acoustic guitar) Bulat Okudzhava. My Russian friend Vladislav Ryzhkov made an English translation, both poetic and almost verbatim (word for word). Enjoy.
