lighthouse crash's

when i get to lighthouse and arrested by becket it crashes when he tells me to board ship..it says loading but kocks up have to use task master to get back ot win screen...is this a bug or just an unfinished quest...please help...!

I can tell you that it is not an unfinshed quest <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />
What questline did you take?
 
the billy brock quest..have got the compass..i go to the lighthouse to meet with (forgot her name)or the Barbossa quest i think...the one were i get arrested at lighthouse...he tells me to board his ship and it locks up...?Playing as jack sparrow...if that helps
 
I had the same problem.
I have found the treasure of Cortez and went to Barbados lighthouse to collect the woman, but Beckett arrives.
After arresting me, a loading screen with a background picture appears. When finished with loading, the loading screen disappears, but only a black background pops up. I can press some buttons and I hear the "clicking" sound of a dialogue, but nothing happens.

Hi,

Crashes at this point are common if you are using the earlier versions of Build 14 alpha 9. - Check that you are using the most up to date version ( B14 Alpha 9.5 patch 1 plus J Sparrow Fixes). Even with this it still sometimes crashes, you just have to go through the sequence carefully

When you go to the Lighthouse to meet Annamaria and are arrested by Beckett, the following should happen:-

Arrive at Lighthouse - walk up beach and talk to Beckett - he tells you to board his ship - walk down beach to rowing boat and board ship - set sail - enter world map, a storm scene movie will start - loading screen of you washed up on beach - you are on beach at night, Davy Jones walks up and talks to you - follow dialogue

This is somewhat off topic, but it does pertain to the lighthouse.

After freeing the slaves, Tia Dalma tells me to go find Annamaria, but I also get a log entry telling me to go see Christopher Mings. I didn't follow the Mings story arc, so I just went to Annamaria instead. From there she tells me to go find Barbossa and get the treasure of Cortez.

I haven't been able to find the ship Volcano yet, and none of this Barbossa business was recorded in my log. I'm just wondering if this is how things are supposed to unfold or if I ran into another bug or glitch. Does Beckett sink the Wench before or after you meet up with Barbossa and go after the treasure?

Can you please enable error logging and post your error log on the thread after this happens?
I did think all the bugs about the lighthouse scene had been fixed but I may be wrong.

I have also had the double questbook bug (I thought I fixed it).

Beckett sinks the Wench after you sink the Volcano. Try sailing to Failse de Fleur (Mortinque) and then look for a class 2 pirate ship. That is the Volcano.

After sinking the Volcano you can find Barbossa but he will not join you yet. You will need to sail to the lighthouse to have Beckett sink your ship first.

I didn't think those fixes would have any effect on the storm bug. Can't hurt to try, though.

Figured I'd try an error log myself. I think I got it right here, but I'm a total n00b in regards to modding shit so you're gonna have to walk me through this. Which part(s) do you need to see specifically? Cause this whole file is pretty big.

As for the error log just post it as an attachment and when it is uploaded click manage current attachments and click the documant with the green + sign
