K3 Mod question

Though i had a few questions, firstly with the brothel the movie plays but then it switches out to windows for some reason each time and naturally when i switch back AoP crashes. If i play it in a window, the movie seems to play only sound while the picture is frozen and i have to press the space bar before it plays normally and I managed to change the names in CharactersInit.c but ingame the names appear blank. any ideas?

Also how do you start the pirate quests? I cant get it into the pirate leaders homes.

update: I noticed if i put in a different first name but keep the sharp name only sharp appears as the name, but if i put back in the original first name, the full name appears. Talk about messed up, im confused how this is possible.

strange the name changing works fine for me, as for the K3 Mod, just make sure you do not use the engine, and xinterface.dll and keep your original ones. As for the movie i have it disabled in my version because it caused to much problems, and for some reason it also disables some of the quests something the maker of the K3 mod has been unable to fix.

thanks for the reply, how do i disable the movies from playing? Also im using my original xinterface and engine, considering they are anti starforce hehe.

u could always download the jungle mod, which should take care of the problems.

that jungle mod is great, though i dont think anything happens in the brothel anymore at least i dont get +100 xp and taken up to the room but all works now hehe and the jungles look good.

Now if only i can get pirate quests

after the patch has been delivered we will go trough everything again and see what needs to be activated and added, from there on we will continue to work on new addons and im sure more people will join in with modding as not everyone have the game yet.

The problem is the movies use diferent codecs,!..?
