John avery- A job as a bounty hunter

Hello all,
I am having a problem with the quest John Avery A job as a bounty hunter. I'm able to get to Willemstad but I cannot get any information from the moneylender about Avery as my game freezes when i go to the option I need information...I mean, I got a question for you. any suggestions? Thanks

I do not understand your problem.
Go to Willemstadt usurer, and he tells you that Avery has done the job for him and went usurer Antigua ... Then, speaking with usurer of Antigua that sends you to San Juan (sometimes to Panama ...), etc ...

You mean there is a bug in your game and it crashes when talking to the shark?Then try to load an earlier saved game maybe that'll solve the issue.
As far as I remember you have an other option during the dialog asking them directly about Avery without clicking on "I have a matter to discuss".

Hey everyone,
I am back trying to get past the same problem again but it won't let the usurer tell me anything about avery. Do I have to do a job for the Moneylender to find out about Avery, Trying talking with everyone in port royale everything worked fine including the moneylender about needing some information. I also tried with a pirate flag on the mast sneaking in but nothing. Is there any modifications that i can do to allow this quest to continue. It allows me to go up to the fourth pirate quest and won't allow me to go any further. Also I have tried using the debugger but it won`t work that way either. Could it be something simple to fix like the technochilitan fix (Silvo Ricci guy with no dialog).
As well I have tried reloading several times both just after completing the quest ``Morgan`s pearl tip`` and after talking with goodley about the bounty hunter job same result. I am thinking that it is something on disc or in the programing not linking up to allow it to continue as I had this happen on the Holland quest line as well except it was when I asked about governer jimenez schedule.
