Yes, but there is smiling 'happily' and smiling 'malevolently' (and lecherously for that matter), done by Sparrow in the movies. Only two sorts of smiles belong on a pirate: 1. Smile making women swoon. 2. Smile making enemies blanch in the face. Just think of Kazeite's Sparrow's sneering smile as Jack thinking about Cutler Beckett.
