How to make loading screens...

Some locations don't have loading screens, or I only have the Russian loading screens. How could I make a new one myself? Does anyone have a template and the required font? Preferrably in a format Paint Shop Pro can open?

Pieter ! i used Photoshop to make the english versions of the loading screens for the new towns of the new islands mod and for the new cabins. But the font was different !

Could you please tell me how to make such a loading screen? I don't really care about the font. I'll just use the same font as you, so there'll at least be some consistency.

I don't really know how to explain that to you ! I captured a screen shot in game and pasted it in a new photoshop image. I erased nathaniel icon, resize it to 512x 512pix (that's the game format for loading sreens), added the flag with a reduced opacity and Puted the text. i saved image in TGA format (24px) and used ConvertorTX to convert it in game format ! of course, i keep a PSD version of the image for the layers like that i can re-use the flag and text for other images. As i said, I only know how to do a loading screen with Photoshop <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

Could you send me that .psd file? Maybe PSP can open it? I can make a screenshot and use it as loading screen without a problem. Pieter i've uploaded a PSD file on the FTP for you. This a loading screen i made for a jungle location on turks island. The flag and the texts are in different layers so you can copy and paste them in other images. I used the font Georgia (bold italic) for my loading screens. I suspected it a little because PSD is the Photoshop format. If you want to make a loading screen, perhaps i can help you pieter. Just make your screen shot in game and send it to me with telling me what title you want. Thanks, Screwface. All I was wanting to add is add loading screens for locations that don't yet have any or for locations that only have Russian loading screens. Examples are CCC's new locations and the crew deck.

I've already made an english version of the crew deck loading screen by the past but it seems it was replaced by the russian version in the last modpack <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />
