How To Add Killed Hero Character In GOF 2.0 Mod?

It happens often when if you go into a Tavern that you meet a hero character like Nathaniel Hawk, Lawrence Beltropa, Red Leg Greaves, Beatrice Devlin, etc. to name a few. They offering you then an alluring adventure to plunder some sunken ships or so.
Now I was quite frustrated to meet some of those guys and gals over and over again... So I decided to challenge some of them to a fencing duel in the bar. To my big surprise their dead corpse left around 20 - 40 Mio. Piasters each to plunder, and so I took the booty for myself!
Of course I did it only with some bad guys (with bad reputation!) like Bartholomew Sharpe, Boris Pavlatchikov, Davy Jones, Hector Barbosa, etc.

Now is there a solution to bring some of them back to live so to say? A mini mod / cheat code for instance?

You can challenge them in any Tavern when you meet one of them. Before a duel starts with your opponent, you have to say some bad words to him and blame him as a scoundrel!

What additional mods do you have?
In default GoF you can only speak about joint mission and making him a companion.
There are no other choices in conversation.
 
I having GOF 2.0 Mod with Beta Test Ver. 1.4 Patch. That`s all mate. And conversation options are always available!
 
When he is going to you there are not many answer options. No, you have to go to him while he`s sitting at a table!

There are NO other choices during conversation.
 
OK. Step by step again:

- First of all, you have to wait until a hero is coming to you in tavern and offering any kind of "alluring adventure". You have to refuse it then. He/she will walk away from you then.

- After that rent a room until the next morning in the same tavern. Repeat this step for the next 2-3 or so days till you see the same hero character siting on a table.

- Then walk to him/her and choose the speak option: "Ah, our beloved scoundrel! Do you desire a few extra holes in your chest?" Blame him/her so long again (never say excuse me please or so) till you have the 2 options: a fencing duel (inside the bar or outside the town) or a sea battle. Choose the on you prefer.

- After killing him/her you can loot his/her body.

I just found out that by pressing the F10 button on the keyboard, a list of the remaining and dead hero character appears. Next step would be to find the right path in the specific folders to modify the necessary files to let the dead hero characters "reborn" again so to say...

You cannot resurrect NAMED NPC heroes, EXCEPT in ONE WAY (game play related, no spoilers).
Dead is dead, as they are recorded in the game game files as DEAD.
You CANNOT add duplicated npc heroes either BACK to a game after a game is STARTED, because that will cause game crashes.
The F10 function only lists the first 13 heroes that are available, there can be more.

With all respect Sir, (no offense to you Sir!) but it seems to be IMPOSSIBLE that the killed NPC heroes are recorded in the previous game files as DEAD! Because I`m 100% certain that I killed AT LEAST TWO TIMES (if not three times!) Jack Sparrow and Davy Jones for example!! So YES, they are coming back, but only after several years! So one has to be very patient to meet a formerly killed hero again...
 
Several years, how many years have you done in one game? I never got to see the second year because we normally had a new patch to test which wasn't savegame compatible (in fact I was lucky if I got past 3 months).:shock

Counting from 1665 to 1692 (my actuall game year) = 27 game years in total! :onya
