As you can see, I'm new to this forum, and first of all I just wanted to tell anyone
whom it might concern who might be reading this, that I've installed the Build 12-mod,
and it really makes the game awesome. That's some quality work and I'd wish to extend my
gratitude to anyone involved in the process of making the mod real. Thanks.
I also have a question, which may be easy enough for you to answer, but then all the better.
I've completed the main quest and a bunch of side quests and built up a considerable personal wealth,
however, I still have 0 acres of land, and I really want a piece of land.
I've been doing jobs for the Douwesen governor, sinking pirate ships over and over (about 20 done I'd guess)
but I'm starting to think that maybe that's not the way. I also bought a Letter of Marque, but I don't
quite know what it does, it seems to put me in the service of Holland, but there's no real difference as far as I can tell.
So, my question is this; how do I get a piece of land? Do I need to keep doing those jobs for the governor
and sink gazillions of ships before he might say that I've done well enough to get some land, or do I need to
do something else to get it? And, has the Letter of Marque any effect on my chance to get land at all?
Thank you for taking time to read this, and have a nice day.
