Notice Hook's Mod for TEHO 1.7.0.ENG (09.04.20)

Hello.

I think I understood it well, although my English isn't too good

Taking advantage of your comments about the version and the date I found some differences in the tehomod_Hookmod. ini file of the Hookmod ESP with respect to the Hoomod ENG, and I have corrected them.

It works correctly as far as I have been able to test it.

According to kb31 the differences of the new version of Hookmod with respect to the previous one are minimal.
well if it works fine for you and the others, its ok i guess. but for me the hookmod wont run if i use the tehemod_hookmod.ini with the configuration line ReqVersion=ver. 1.7.0.ENG (09.04.20), the log says error game version.. the mod works if i use ReqVersion=ver. 1.7.0.ENG (04.04.20) or ReqVersion=ver. 1.7.0.ENG tho.. but nonetheless if it works for you using an ini with a ReqVersion=ver. 1.7.0.ENG (09.04.20).. all is good then.. :thumbs1

is it possible that after instaliing mod I can't get marathon quest from merchant in taverns? They are there but give only escort missions
There are no shipyard mission also... but for longer time... ?
I installed mod at level 29, quite late, but mod works fine - wind, active map, slower time passing (great job guys!) - great, even if it doesn't fix the achievments bug with this midnight colapse

?
 
How can I stop my rep from dropping everyday after FTJR?

but when I press the * key nothing happens (no white log text in upper right of screen), is my console file incorrect or do I need to change the key to something else since * dont work for me (if so, how).
 
I had managed to use the console for this once.
I can't remember what I did exactly to make it work in the console.

I also remember fixing it in the code, but I will need to search on my old files for it.
This fix won't work if you have already finished FTJR though.

Edit: Unfortunately it seems I have lost my old files, so I can't help for now. :oops:

I am also interested in knowing how to solve this problem, I am playing that dlc and I would like my character to be on the right track...

As from walk through (Russian site), reputation problem can be solved only after taking with Merable (girl saved by hero) after FTJR.
I followed the walk through before and worked for me (1.5 years back and before Hero of the nation & Happily ever after).
And I had Hook mod 1.5 back then.

I added that line of code but I still never got a confirmation message appear. Haven't noticed the drop in rep however since I'm not sailing around. Stranded grinding away treasure hoarding at the city of lost ships, curse the swimming mechanic and not being able to take my mules, erm boarders, with me (If I had known before hand their was thousands of stone worth of loot I would've modded the Monkey amulet to 150% increase instead of the default 15% but I really do need those 700 stone worth of candles :D).

If you need that girl to stop it than I can't. I didn't have Jan kill her (maybe I should've) but I don't have her anymore. She up and disappeared from my cabin from being at sea for to long so if I needed to talk to her than that is how I'm bugged on the rep. :(

You massed up with the game already! Remember this game is hardcore and there are many 'restrictions & condition' to complete any mission.
Like for example: there are 3 ways to do Dutch Gumbit. But if you cross concert level then other 2 ways will be close for you.

Path 1: "The passage of the Dutch gambit for the Secret Organization:
*Character level not higher than 15.
*all 3 swords + firearm skills at 25 or above.
*Finally, you need the second negative reputation level."

Path 2: "The passage of the Dutch gambit for England:
*The game for England is designed to pass the hero of 13-14 rank.
*Requirements for the quest: SG not higher than 15 rank, navigation 30, honor - neutral or positive."

Path 3: "The game for the Dutch West India Trading Company (GVIC) is designed to pass the hero 10-12 rank. No requirements for taking the quest."

**Only path 3 is always open. So if you cross level 15 then other 2 path will be closed for ever. Another thing Dutch Gumbit only trigger after 3 month from last meet to Michel de Montpe.

Here I said about restriction and condition only for one mission. There are for every mission. So be careful. Don't mass up.
As for FTJR or Under the Black Flag there are condition too.
Merabel
is very important character for FTJR. You must not kill her before. And she will die if she stay at sea for several days(that's why you loose her). Immediately bring her to Isla Monet (your privet island). She lived there for ever with other 3 men. Those are very loyal to you. You can visit her time to time and do sex (have to say) with her. And only she can stop that negative reputation problem after FTJR. Its completely story made. After you have Merry/Helen on your ship permanently, she will stop doing 'good' things with you. But lived there for ever.

EDIT: Hero have to talk to his brother too, after Merabel.

Note: In that home you can store all your loot too. There are some big chest (including underwater secret one). Merabel will take care of them.

well be4 attacking the spanish city u can just quit it, u wont get the spoils for that particular quest but u will still have ur own privat island with/without the girl and all the previous quests, u wont get any negative things in the game....
It will be like u never even become a bloodthirsty pirate, but u will still have all the spoils, so u get a slave an island and all the spoils without demageging ur honour....
I dont mean Merida but the other town wher that fatt pirat tells ya to bring a 2nd class warship or lower and ya shuld do a full scall invasion, just skip it, the reward sucks u can do better on golden fleet, and the last quest is just .... Good huntin folks

(o4.04.20) ehm... ehm... aint updated steam legal version, sadly the pirates are to lazy to to uplode the (09.04.20) version of the game so ya this mod is for the updated steam version.... no biggie tho if ya run 04.04.20 expect that the game will bug and break by runing the happeliy ever affter, as the update that fix the bugs is missing.

hey man this mod can be disabled in game? i have a problem earning doublons with bankers i deposit 100 doublons in banks and above 3 weeks just i have 105 doublons of earnings is this for the mod?
 
this mod dosent affect banker % investment on dublons if u give banker 100 dublons i think u get intrest ~1% vanila game, best is always to read what game/npc's say...
if ya want 3% intest u need to invest atleast 1k i think... pulling it out from memory my own not the game files so i mayby wrong + game difficulty may varry on those thingies

lol yeah but the time pass slow in the sea without the mod the earns is more fast... 1 week in sea is 5 mins! lol
 
@LarryHookins @kb31 Thank You both for this. Thanks to console from this mod I didn't have to start new game when Silk Road quest failed due to me being to late to get the reward for it. I just added next part using the console. The reward was lost (I could add it together with next quest but it was my fault for being late) but I can continue the quest.
