Can I start the game with ship I want(I want Manowar)!!???????

you're denis right? maybe you shouldn't be so demanding, you know. it doesn't really seem friendly.

What you need to do is go into the POTC directory namely "Program Files/Bethesda Softworks/ Pirates of the Caribbean/ PROGRAM/ InternalSettings.h In this text file, there are a number of preferences you can change, similiar to Buildsettings.h but a little bit more complicated, nut not complicated to the point that you can't do anything without a degree in computer software.

In InternalSettings.h the beginning of the file should look as follows(although yours may be different since I've made a few changes mysel <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> f)

As you can see this first section has a lot to do with your options at the beginning of the game. Under the line "//Ship Selection Options You'll see a code name for a ship model, my first for example is "theBlackPearl" denoting Kazeites latest model for the Black Pearl. Now, You can change any of these code-names to the code-names of the ships of your preference. The easiest way to find this code (at least that I know of) is to go into PROGRAM/Ships/Ships_init.c and scroll through to find your preferred ship or ships. My guess is that if you wanted a manowar, the code-name to be entered could be any of the following: Manowar1, Manowar2, Manowar_gub, Manowar3_44, Manowar 3. All these code-names must be typed in between the quotation marks exactly as I have them here. I'm not sure which model of Manowar you want, so I suggest putting them all in and testing them to see which one you prefer.
Once you put in the code, save the file, and start a new game. You can now choose between a number of manowar models! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" /> Happy Sailing,

i'd recommend the manowar_gub. it's black, but with some dark blue in it as well. there's only one of it in the entire game, unless you pick it of course. you could see it as a pirate manowar.

This may not be the right place to ask, but I'm curious. how do you find the Manowar_gub. never really heard of it. sounds like it will make a fine addition to my armada <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sailr.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":sail" border="0" alt="sailr.gif" />

why would that matter? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" /> that bit is exactly the same as in the build, with only the ship being changed and being able to capture the captain.
