[HELP] Can't Find Isabella's Brother

I'm not sure I this has been touched on before in this forum, but I can't seem to find an answer to this, not even in the "unofficial" guide. When I get to Cumano to find her brother, I enter the tavern and speak to the barkeeper who tells me that Isabella's brother has been fixing up his ship in the port for quite awhile now, but he's not around at the moment, and then I'm told to search in town for him. Well, after an hour of searching the godforsaken town, hermano is nowhere to be found. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
 
I think in the tavern in Cumana you have to speak to 2 people - the tavernkeeper & the captain of the Brothers ship ( your log book should update after talking to the captain - if it does not that might be stopping the brother from being in the town ) - then go looking for the brother in the town.

Question - when you are looking in the town is it night? ( that might stop him apprearing ) :shrug
 
I just checked, and when I speak to the barkeeper, he tells me about the captain, not the brother, so that's my mistake. But, either way, I still can't find this "captain" because he's not sitting in the tavern like the guide says, during the day or night it doesn't seem to make a difference.

3... When in Cumana if the innkeeper tells u the captain is not in there, just go outside and speak with one guy with cowboy hat, after that the captain will be inside the inn.

If captain is not there try going outside talking to someone then going back into the tavern and seeing if the captain is there now

Otherwise you will probably have to go back to a save before you arrived at Cumana and play from there. :facepalm
