It will probably look like AOP, since Akella is helping them and I believe they are using Akella`s engine.

In my opinion graphics are better ( what I saw from screens )

No offense, but if you take a little time to see go to the link Rico posted you'd find it, and I don't want to be mean but what's with the ??????????????????

Yes they are. Those sword fighting and ship battle screens are unbelievable. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" />
 
Pretty sure most people know this, but the release date from PotBS is not June anymore!

They decided, not only to offer the game via download as initially planned, but also to sell it in boxes in stores.

At the moment negotiations are going on and no release date has been named since then (only that the game will be delayed).

They will though invite loads people into the Beta by end of June.
 
Yeah, just read it today (=/) - but where did you get the information about the expanding of the closed beta?

We’ll introduce it to our current beta folks, and assuming that goes well, we’ll start the process of inviting people in. Lots of people. This isn’t an open beta -- we view that as entirely a marketing device and we still have serious, large-scale testing to do of the economy, the Conquest system, and other features. But it is a huge expansion of our beta population. Currently, to get into the beta, you have to either be crazy lucky or have a beta key. Now your odds will get a lot more reasonable.</b>
 
soo... should we re-sign up for the beta if we did it sometime in 04-05?

cause i think they forgot about me... anyways, end of june will everyone be able to download it? or just the crazy lucky like now?
 
You don't need to resign for the beta as your details should still be saved. All you can do is to resend your dxdiag if your PC has changed.

Not all will get into beta, but Rusty said that the odds will be more reasonable now.
 
lol, i just went and tried to sign in... i don't exist... anyways i re-applyed with a new name (which is COMPLETLY different from before... )

i go to members list and my NAME doesn't even exist... anyways... so much for that... guess 3+years of waiting was for nothing... sigh i need to pay more attention to things like that.

No worries, you have the same chance to get into beta as everyone else. They don't look when people applied for it, they just pick some.
 
ah thats good and bad i guess... someone found out about it at day one should imho have better chances then someone who found out 4 years later...

anyways thats good for me, i have the same chance to make it... hopefuly i do.
 
I guess I'll wait a bit longer...not like I have not been waiting a few years anyway .
