As far as I'm aware, CoAS even without any mods was one of the most playable games in the series.

I am probably asking in the wrong section or that I am asking an already answered question.
But will this mod be updated or continued on? It's a brilliant mod and I keep coming back to it.
Also is 1.5 the latest version or is there a more stable release of the mod?

I got the latest version of this mod corsairs ship pack,and I didn't find anything related to bugs in this mod on the forum, when playing with Peter Blood, there is a bug right at the beginning, in the part where you have to get the sword from the chest on the balcony, the character does not have access to the chest, it is just displayed on the screen that you do not need a key for the chest, but nothing happens, there is no way to get the sword.
