All one needs to do is go back and read the threads starting about last August to debunk that idea. There was even a poll taken about what to name it.

Perhaps. But it that is perfectly untrue. Not to mention that we do intend to add a whole lot more in addition, such as actually having a player CHARACTER, pirate stuff and shore adventures. My only concern is that he might actually think we stole his entire game concept along with the name... that could be awkward.
Not just at SubSim; we posted that news here as well: http://www.piratesahoy.net/threads/signal-close-action-first-public-release.20452/Quite a bit of interest on Subsim at the minute - he even released an early version - just camera controls now, Ai controlling the fleets.

If you do get hire mate, Be sure to keep volunteering here xP lolThat thread just got added to my list of stuff to read when I need a laugh!

This would be useful. It seems a few people over there are won over by Naval Actions' eye candy (which is fair enough), but it's worth reminding them that HoO will look just as good.Actually, making some account there and just clarifying on our game vs. Naval Action might be worth it.
Perhaps we could get some more fans in doing so. After all, an online multiplayer game just isn't the same as an offline singleplayer one.
