That is Metal Storm Technology that was developed 6-8 years ago. Some pretty cool stuff.

The US military has mortar and anti-aircraft guns being developed now.

I wasn't aware it has been de-classified. It's all over youtube now.

Very cool technology, no moving parts, no firing pins, etc.
