those two handles at the back will be attached with a crank to the main body soon. then i will add another crank for the upper legs. i think i'm going to make the two control units for the legs tilt, so they can move along with the legs.

this is, by the way, without doubt the biggest amount of technology i've ever squeezed into such a small space. i'd say the single crank on each leg perfectly controlling both the ankle and knee was quite a stroke of genius, if i say so myself.

i'm not sure if you can quite see, but there's a driveshaft running from the hip joint through the centre of the leg. this controls the two sidecranks for sideward tilt.

i will likely make an upper body, but this all depends on how heavy it's going to get. there is a limit to the weight this mechanism can take.
