Fix Reversed Lighting bug solved?

is it me or did i accidentaly solve the reversed lightning bug ????? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/danse1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":dance" border="0" alt="danse1.gif" />

well had to narmalize and reverse all polygons
ganna do the same tothe normal pearl and wench

BTW: Do you still have the "smoothing groups" on the model?
The top of the cabin looks a bit squarish now, so I wonder if that was lost in the process. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />
 
Well we've had a good weekend then ......no more reverse lighting problem for ships & DIY. lighting files for locations.

Think I'll have a few beers on the strength of it....Good job Zareth.

Looking at the screenshots again, it DOES seem like the smoothing groups disappeared. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />
 
How do you mean Pieter.... as in 'set to face' and not 'smoothed'?

choose all polygonical object's from edit polygons dropdown menu choose narmals >set vertex normal >set to face > reverse
then just do some edge smothing <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="8)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" />

btw are there any more ships with the reversed light bug on the except for the pearl and wench wich im workin on right now ???
 
HMS Interceptor and Amsterdam definitly have it; a couple of the following might have it too: BritishWarship, SuperiorWarship and Indiaman1. There might be some others too, but I'm not sure.

Cutter2? That's a repaint of Cutter1, isn't it? In which case Cutter1 would have it too (can easily be solved once Cutter2's fixed though by HEX-editing the Cutter2 model file).
