Error Message 1628

Hey,

have some problems to Install SMP. When I click on Install the install shield starts the initialising and cancel short time later. Error message 1628: `Script-based` installation could not be continued.
Than I‘ve downloaded an new driver and Windows Service Pack 2 and than happened nothing.

What can I do?

My stats
AMD 1800+
512 MB RAM
ATI 9800 Se Pro
Win XP Prof
