Do I have to install the new pennant mod and I wasn't in any danger zone.
I had trouble switching flags until the last update. What I had to do before was, select the flag, go to world map, return to direct sail. Then I got the flag I wanted.
All I see is magistrates flag with a check in a box next to it but it won't let me uncheck box
Found it I just have to talk to my officers to change flags

The one you want for Jack Sparrow - is Deserted Shore.
It is in one of the large Bays of the island.
As long as you are OUT of danger, there should be a lot more flags there to select:
This is also disabled during the opening of the Standard storyline, but afterwards you are free to do as you please with the flags.
No you don't; that is just graphical.
Well the flags don't load for me I have to have an officer for flags
Where are you in the game? And which storyline?
If you start a new game on, say, Jean Lafitte and open that menu, DO you have the option?
I'm on the Jack sparrow quest which I'm at the end all I have to do is sail into port at Jamaica unless I'm actually suppose to sail as a pirate into the port
Never mind I figured it out. I had to wait for a officer,sail to jamiaca and land at a beach the talk to officer to change flags. but there are no flags to change from at relations I only see the flag that I'm using and that's it.
He has them but Jack sparrow doesn't and is there supposed to be 2 Jack sparrows
Wha? Two Jack Sparrows?
Perhaps something happens in the story that prevents it. Could you upload your savegame? I'd like to have a look and see if I can figure out what's up with that.
how do i upload it
Ok first you go into your POTC--->save--->JackSparrow folder and find your last save. Then you must zip it. I use 7Zip. Then you can "upload a file" here.
Be aware! You must then delete that zip file in your save folder or your game will not work.
and there is a jack sparrow and legendjack sparrow folder in the save folder so im seeing if its a continuation of where you ended from or if its just the same as the jack sparrow save
There ARE two folders in there! Why, since there is only the one storyline?
i don't know and also im having problems with the nathanial hawk storyline when im supposed to learn how to fight my sword gets put away but nothing happens and also is there a walkthrough for him and others -
