I have corrected the encounters to my liking. Sent ships to the different eras according to how they look like as style, not by year built /tho there's no contradiction in that, just in some minor case may be a difference/. Also gave some dutch ships to the other nations for the 1600s as the roster was poor for that year, but the dutch still have them much more often. Given the portuguese to use the french war galleon; rarer than France /1600s/. Given Spain ability to use the Soleil Royale /increasing the 1600s roster/. Sent some english ships to all others /later eras/. The pirates have benefitted most. Taken out the steam ships from the 1770s.
Restricted some ships only to one nation thus increasing variety - because with the previous situation all having them - were loaded in 1 vs 1 fleet encounter in bigger number displacing other ships making it repetitive. Such are corvettes now, each nation can recruit only 1 type of Corvette.
Galleons were a major cause of that the other ships were pushed to the bottom so far. Reorganised their distribution thoroughly. Same for Fleuts and Fast Galleons. Xebecs were sent to each era by appearance and denied access to the other eras, while so far all were loaded in all. Brigs/Brigantines were taken out of the early eras and appear in a nation by paintscheme. Previous Brig/SloopofWar given to pirates only. Indiamen removed from the 1550s, which was incredible inaccuracy so far. Carracks, a precursor to the ordinary galleon, which were already obsolete even in the 1550s are removed from the 1600s.
Removed ability of one nation to recruit more than one paintscheme of one ship, thus giving way to other ships to be loaded decreasing repetitiveness.
Small ships were reorganised. While didn't check which exactly was built when, sent them to eras by outer appearance, while so far all were loaded almost in all. Actually just stuck the way for themselves and other ships, not loaded in fact.
Greater ships received more chance to appear, not so rare as now. As which nation recruits them this wasn't changed. Pirates now can have some warships /up to 4th rates/, it could happen in realty as captured prize.
The distribution of ships in the last two eras - after 1770s is almost untouched except for pushing the steam ones after the 1800s as in reality. These eras need testing.
All in all if you notice something irregular report for improving.
Some quest ships will also appear to be sold, if you don't like this report and will be removed. Planning on adding all mysterious ships that have an uncursed version also to be sold, or met in encounters - I am waiting for your oppinion on that.
I am personally quite satisfied with the 1550s which were totally poor so far, and the 1600s which now look magnificent. And in the 1750s is just perfect
Upd. 2nov13. Ver2. Regulated appearance of Fleuts, must not be seen after 1739.
Upd. 3nov13. Ver3. Withdrawn older looking warships ships earlier in time so that they won't appear with the most modern now.
Installation: Copy/Paste. While at sea press F11. Then make a save with the new settings. That's it.
