Need Help Disable armor

Is there away to disable the armor from showing on characters?

First, back up the folder "RESOURCE\MODELS\Characters" in case either this doesn't work or you accidentally delete a wrong file.

Go into "RESOURCE\MODELS\Characters" and delete any files which end with "_A1.gm", "_A2.gm" or "_A3.gm". Those are the armoured models. If a character is wearing one of the metal armour types (cheap cuirass, battle cuirass or gold cuirass), the system looks for the appropriate model version ("_A1", "_A2" or "A3" respectively); if that model exists, it is used, otherwise the basic model is used instead. Be careful because if you delete a basic model, the game will crash if a character using that model is supposed to appear.

If done correctly, what Grey Roger says should work very well.

First, make sure no characters are wearing armour at the moment.
Then delete *_A1.gm, *_A2.gm and *_A3.gm .

Nothing else should be needed.
