Not to add fuel to the fire, but ISTR when giving sail away order they _don't_ come with you.
This back from raiding merchie convoys using galleons are cargo vessels (cut in, take a ship's cargo, sail to galleon, put the cargo in the galleon, sail back, and the galleon stays behind).

nah, i reckon it's better with no traffic at all. it's meant to be a deserted haven, isn't it?

Hmm. Better fix would be to check if appropriate CR character exists and if not skip. That way if you add the characters, presto it's enabled.

Also may an island.skipCR flag and if true skip CRs. So you can turn them on and off during the game.

I have a question 'bout this one, when I start a new game, I can sail to kaol roa, and I can fastsailing to the shore,.. but I can not go on land :S.. when is this possible in the game ?....

Talking about Devil's Island: is there anywhere you could store your booty? And is there something to be found in the hidden cave?
 
Help! I proobably don't understand how this works.

I have finiished the main quest. I went to back to KR and was successful getting into the cove but I can't land. The map icon never turns to the anchor and I just sit there.

Any help?

Ahoy FB!

Hitting F3 kicked me out the map view of the sea. Getting to the beach and reinitalizng fixed it. Devil's Island is very cool.
