At present, i'm working on a new quest but i've found that in my first quest i've forgotten two lines in the TempQuestCharacters file.

So, if you integrate the Bartolomeu's quest into the next modpack please add this line for the Emilio Soares's character:

ch.greeting = "Gr_Emilio Soares";

and this one for the Juan Hernandez's character :

ch.greeting = "Gr_Juan Hernandez";

I've released a new small quest (Turkshelp - FTP Pirates Ahoy). You'll meet a famous dutch pirate during the quest <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wp" border="0" alt="whistling.gif" />
 
Nice! Could you please do me one small favour? Please add the FULL files into the file on the FTP. With your previous quest you only added the newly added code, but it's much easier for me when you add all code instead. So including the code you didn't change.

I have put your Bartolomeu o Portugues into the Build 14 Alpha package I'm working on. Could you tell me how that quest is supposed to be started that quest so people will know how to test it?

Today or maybe tomorrow, i'll upload the full files. Otherwise, This quest starts at the Turks tavern and you only need a rank >10. You also need crewmembers or/and officers to fight an important group of spanish soldiers.

those are some requirements. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":eek:" border="0" alt="ohmy.gif" /> if people try before, how are they supposed to know when they can? i think that people will, after trying several times, simply give up trying before they are able to. if this quest is triggered by talking to a character, the character should appear when the player can play the quest. at least, that's my idea.
 
The Claire Lorousse quest is like that, she just lets you know that you have to come back later if you which to start the quest.

I've uploaded the full files. For the Bartolomeu's quest, you need a rank > 4 and the quest starts at the Grand Cayman Tavern.
 
i always thought we needed some quests for the new islands. maybe move some from falaise the fleur to a different island? you play a lot of quests there, and for a lot of them you don't even have to leave the island. it would spare the work of making lots of new quests.

Nope, bad idea. I fully disagree. There aren't that much of quests in Falaise de Fleur anyway. And they are making the game interesting when you start the game with French flag : like when you begin the game with dutch flag, you have the opportunity to start one of the most fascinating quest immediatly - the black frigat one, witch quickly leads you to the main quest as you have to sail to Oxbay. So no, morgan terror, leaves the Falaise de Fleur quests at Falaise de Fleur, they are very usefull there.
And anyway, it IS necessary to make lots of new quests, so moving some that allready exit isn't solving the problem at all.
