Speaking of rum (a personal favorite!), that may be part of a problem I've run across when trying to implement me own personal sails. I edited the image (orignally parus_pirate15.tga), did all the conversions and copies, and restarted the game. After choosing the new sails (an Arabian horse over crossed swords) and boarding me lovely frigate, I was pleased to see the new sails billowing full, but was dismayed when I saw that me supporting ships have no mainsails at all! And if I try to select one of the "stock" sails, it's the same result.

Does anyone have an idea as to what I've done wrong? I deliberately steered clear of modifying anything but the one image file, so I'm flummoxed as to what's gone awry.

I've noticed that happens and mentioned it to someone but they never answered. Perhaps it will get better exposure here. :

I hope so, Cat. It's really distracting. I haven't been able to tell if it impairs the performance of the ships. Quite frankly, I've been too busy to try and figure it out... :
