Solved Crewmembers Not Attacking

Hello everyone,
I am following the storyline of Johan Elting and I arrived at Cayman, I brought 3 crewmembers with me in the jungle but whenever a fight break out with thieves they stand still and doesn't help me.

Can someone help me please ?

Edit : Oh well seems I figured it out why they don't attack, they have no weapon, I guess I must give some to them.

Indeed you must equip your crew with weapons. Better weapons helps them live longer and once they get them they keep them.

You can equip them with armor and bandages too, just throw that stuff into the weaponslocker.

Especially on higher difficulty levels this is a must to survive boarding operations.
