Hehe, that's what I've done just a week ago when I get the PotC 2 Soundtrack. I think that was the only song from the soundtrack that is worth to be used in the game so I add it to the game. I used it in taverns and ports.

Very true! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="

I'd like to add that into the Pre Build 13 modpack as well. Could you upload the file somewhere?

I was rather disapointed with the soundtrack from PotC 2 - DMC. They use to much synthesizer sound and other parts from pop music like drums and electric guitars. The soundtrack from PotC 1 was much better. It has a more orchestral sound.

I completely agree. <i>Jack Sparrow</i> and <i>Wheel of Fortune</i> are nice tracks, but they still don't sound properly orchestral. It is quite surprising that the first PotC soundtrack sounds more orchestral than the second, because even the first could hardly be considered orchestral. I did like it quite a bit though.
The thing I really didn't like about the second one is the reuse of old music. I don't mind old themes being used. I LIKE old themes being used in a different way. But there's a difference between using old themes and old music. Sometimes during the movie I'd go "Hey! That's <i>Will and Elizabeth</i>." or "What's <i>Barbossa is Hungry doing</i> here?". I liked those tracks for the first film, but I would've preferred completely new music incorporating the old themes would have been written instead of parts of the first soundtrack being reused in slightly different ways.

But in my opinion the best music for a pirate game was the soundtrack from "Cutthroat Island" I think. It is excactly what I expected from a old school pirate movie soundtrack. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="

Cutthroat Island is the best. Anyone who disagrees is NUTS! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
