Do you have any ideas what you would like to work on specifically? @RobinPC and @Ashinokami might have some ideas as well.
I was personally thinking about some terrain-related work, or perhaps establishing the look of some period towns and the like, for example

Maby you are interested in making paintings for interiors? Like in the Tavern / Shipyard etc etc.

hello, I have followed the game since I was in design but never had time to be able to help, I'm working with designer 2d photoshop corel draw, SketchUp also use google and would like to help in any way. Take a look at my deviant to catch conceptual art TBM did a wooden ship here at home, would also like to know if it's like 3d modeling in SketchUp?
