COAS new mod

Ok i decided to import 2 new nations and 3rd as unique ships

Nations:

Germany
Denmark

i need names for them(towns) 1 for each

and chinese will be like encounters but much rarer thats why i sad unique ships couse ull see lets say 1-3 every 10 years if i will be able to get coding that they apear 3 times in period of 10 years
also i need ur sugestions for flags and emblems so show me what u have :onya

Nice!! I am really looking forward to sail under the flag of my country! I 've heard about some single german ports in the westindies and what I know is, we had a close alliance with the Dutch, back in those days (you may have noticed the design of the brandenburg ships). The Dutch king William III of Orane was raised for a couple of years under William I. (the german articals are more detailed)!
So what I would suggest is a small german settlement on a dutch Island and only a few ships (big merchants with escort frigates) on the map. Btw, do want to add new islands and locations?? Than you could add the small port between San Martin and San Juan (german colonies, look at the map on the right: small red dots)
or new kurland on Tobago or even hanauish india (coast of dutch guayana)...
 
For the asien things, I've added a new pdf-book about the japanese-korean warshipbuilding until 1639 to my Folder! ;)

@ Ovahenort: I've found the german port in St. Thomas belonging to the american virgin islands!

It has a list of their ships so it seems they shouldn't have anything larger than a warship or smaller than a yacht.

That's a redirect from the flag link below. I'm pretty sure zwei means two so they shouldn't have any three decked ships. Perhaps Takeda-One could clarify this?

I think that's the flag you see in the painting, not hard to make, you just need a white flag, put the emblem on the left and you got yourself a new flag :onya

In regards to Denmark, I think you can use the red flag with a white cross for them, from the little I've read, seems their flags hasn't changed much since it's inception. Although, the question is the placement of the cross. The modern flag has the cross slightly to the left, while some older flags I've seen have the cross in the center. I'm leaning toward the cross in the center since that is the older flag, but I don't know what year or century they changed the design of the flag.
 
If you can model ships or get a ship modeler to help you out, try and make something new :onya

If not, use the ships we have for now till you can get more nation specific ships. I think getting the factions you want in the game and possibly having to create a new island should take priority over specific ships.
 
i could make em if i got right tools usualy im using milkshape or wings 3d for models but they cant export into gm files also got maya 2010 and i got plugins to export but when i want import obj file goten from gm viewer i cant import it into maya it says that it shows unknown characters :shrug
 
As for the ships, I would say, we need a mod, which limits certain ships to their nations first, before we can think about specific vessels! In case for a german nation, we can use yoho's Hamburg; retex his dutch lineship and from the org. ships the small Galeon+Pinnace and the modded Brig should be ok.

@ OP: Zweidecker means ship with two gundecks, your guess was quit correct :rolleyes:

As I pointed our earlier, we already have some german ports: St Thomas (am. Virgin Islands); New Kurland (Tobago) and Hanauish-India (Surinam, from the Duke of Hanau).

Historic frame for a quest campain: In 1680 William I. orderd a trading war against Spain...

In good old AoP I could use my flag :?

what are names of all 12 aztec totems? im making new item icons and dont know names of game totems so i can make new ones

takes much space i want cut those mb-s to make my mod smaller for some 50-100mb

is it possible to make city lamps transparent? i tryed do transparent lamp texture (lampk3) but if its 1% transparent it wont show texture its 100% transparent btw i made new city land bump texture its not anymore in those tiny spots :onya

Oh, alright then. :onya Everything is looking really good so far. One of my biggest problems with AoP2 were the graphics compared to AoP1. They look dull and boring in AoP2, and your screenshots seem to improve that, so thank you!

Also, if you don't mind, can you make the mod organized and with good grammar? I know that can be annoying, but if you do, it will make the mod look very professional and a lot more appealing. I like what your doing with the interface, but could you capitalize the 'P' in pirates? :)

Are you basing your mod off of any other mods (such as the Combined Mod) or just on the vanilla version of the game. If your not, would you kindly add some little details in there such as:

-the 3 guys in the boat when anchored
-in first-person view, seeing your crew on deck

After your mod is complete, I don't want to add the Combined Mod, except for those few features, so if they are in your mod, that'll save me some space and time.
